Cenk Yalavaç

College-educated on Industrial Engineering, Cenk has joined the localization industry in 2006.

Taking on various tasks in the leading translation enterprises in Turkey (ES Language Services, LocPro) for over 10 years, he established his own company with an interest in innovation, and his nature focusing on optimization and disliking routine. In addition to El Turco, offering high level localization services to titanic corporations on the global arena, he served as the product manager in the consortium that established the API-based translation and content integration platform, translationhub.com.

As a result of his long-lasting curiosity towards machine translation, he contributed to the team working on Neural Machine Translation (NMT) and continues his efforts on integration and automation-oriented translation services under his own company and with other industry stakeholders.

Keeping a close eye on global developments, Cenk, in the belief that Turkey has failed to provide adequate support to the development of the industry, is working hard to create a suitable platform with the help of new generation business administrators.
